Whichever way you choose to travel you will arrive on the Mainland of Orkney either by Sea or by Air and then on to Shapinsay.

 Arrival airport is Kirkwall. From here you are just a few minutes from MV Shapinsay ferry terminal by taxi. I would advise pre-booking your taxi. There is also an airport shuttle bus which takes you into Kirkwall dropping you near to the Shapinsay ferry by request.
